Thorn Bridge carries Melville Street crosses the River Witham on the A1434 in Lincoln.
The bridge was detrunked to become the responsibility of the local authority along withe the A15 following the 1998 review A New Deal for Trunk Roads in England.
In December 2020, the A15 was rerouted on a bypass to the East of Lincoln, and consequently the bridge was renumbered as part of the A1434 and lost its primary status.
