Moby Dick is a signalised crossroads on the A12 near Romford. It was named after the pub on the junction, which itself was named because one of the roads that joins at the junction is Whalebone Lane.
It was previously a roundabout, but was changed to a crossroads at some point between 1967 and 1990[1].
