Monasterboice Interchange is junction 11 of the M1. It was built in 1993 as the southern terminus of the Dunleer Bypass section of the M1. Although the Drogheda bypass was opened in 2001 to continue the M1 southwards from this point, the interchange remains a partial one, serving only traffic to and from the north.
