Mulben Crossroads lies on the A95 roughly midway between Craigellachie to the west and Keith to the east. It is a curious junction, where the A95 turns from the southwest to the southeast, with the B9103 approaching from the northwest. However, the mainline is the B9103-A95 west to east route, despite the A95 being primary through the junction. To the northeast, a minor road leads into Mulben Village.
