The N20 is a Route Nationale running south from Paris to the border with Spain, via Orléans, Limoges and Tolouse.
The road was one of the original routes created by Napoleon in 1811. Historically, it started at the Porte d'Orléans, and had a southern branch (N20 bis) to Andorra. From Orléans to Pamiers (south of Toulouse), it has been detrunked and is a mixture of various Routes Departmentales. The A20 Autoroute follows the central course of the road.
