1826 N/A Bealach na Ba Ross-shire Now Highland C1087
1881 N/A Lincoln Inner Circle Lincolnshire Yarborough Road opened 19 October 1881 between West Parade and Burton Road. It was 1300 yards long, 40 foot wide and climbed the escarpment on the west side of Lincoln with an average gradient of 1 in 23. Construction had taken less than a year. It became part of B1193 in 1922 but was changed to A1102 shortly afterwards (1927-29 MoT map) and more recently B1273.
1884 N/A Nottingham Nottinghamshire Castle Boulevard opened 18 September 1884 to connect Lenton to the City Centre. It became part of A453 by 1936 and more recently A6005
1886 N/A Lincoln Inner Circle Lincolnshire Yarborough Crescent opened between Burton Road and Riseholme Road which would provided a future bypass route for cross city A15 traffic. It connected to Long Dales Road which was already in existence across to Nettleham Road and widened in the 1920s. It became part of B1193 in 1922 but was changed to A1102 shortly afterwards (1927-29 MoT map) and more recently B1273.
1893 N/A Derby Outer Ring Road Derbyshire Osmaston Park Road between Cotton Lane (now Elton Road) and Osmaston Road, Allenton (A514). Built to allow access to development land. It became part of A5111
1894 N/A Tower Bridge, London Middlesex • Surrey Opening of Tower Bridge, now A100
1897 N/A Blackwall Tunnel, London Middlesex • Kent Opening of Blackwall Tunnel, now A102
