Newby Bridge is a bridge which carries the A171 over the Scalby Beck, Scarborough.
The bridge is reported to have been washed away in floods in the 1890s[1].
The bridge was rebuilt in 1906-7 to cope with increasing traffic levels[2] and again in 1956, according to an inscription on the bridge.
