Newport Road Interchange was a planned junction in Cardiff connecting the road of the same name to the unbuilt Hook Road. It would have been a traffic signal controlled diamond. The junction was a later addition to the plans following the abandonment of north facing slips at the nearby Splott Interchange. This allowed space for a junction to be added at Newport Road without any weaving issues.
