North Street Junction is the point where North Street Leeds allows access to the Leeds Inner Ring Road. It has a rare right exit.
The A64(M) is the Eastern Section of the Leeds Inner Ring Road with the A64 continuing to Scarborough The Leeds City Centre Loop is a collection of one way streets around the city centre. It has numbered junctions, and this is Junction 9.
When New York Road was built in the 1910s, it ended by meeting the existing streets here. The A64(M) and its interchange were eventually built through the middle.
