The Puffin, or Penmaenmawr Roundabout is junction 16 of the A55. It was opened in 1989 as part of the Penmaenmawr bypass, of which it is the east end. It and Llanfairfechan Roundabout are the last two flat roundabouts on the A55 between the English motorway system and Holyhead.
