Pont Erwyd carries the A44 across the river Rheidol in the small village which takes its name from the bridge - Ponterwyd.
Hen Bont
The old bridge across the Rheidol lies immediately to the north of the modern A44 crossing. It is known as the Hen Bont (Old Bridge) and is a single stone arch across the river.
