Presteigne (Welsh: Llanandras) is the former county town of Radnorshire. It was the only county town not to be served by an A-road upon the classification of roads in 1922, a state of affairs which has continued to this day.
The B4355 through the town has been rerouted onto a bypass alignment, and some of the other B-roads have been renumbered, but other than that, not a lot has changed.
|Norton, Tref-y-clawdd / Knighton||was B4359|
|Whitton, Llanbister||was B4362|
|Mortimer's Cross, Leominster||for the Midlands|
