This article is about Queensway Roundabout on the A911 in Glenrothes.
For other Queensway Roundabout, see Queensway Roundabout.
For other Queensway Roundabout, see Queensway Roundabout.
Queensway Roundabout lies on the A911 immediately to the north of the town centre in Glenrothes. It provides access to the car parks for the town centre and also to the industrial estate and supermarkets to the north. The junction itself is therefore a 4-arm roundabout, with the A911 passing east-west along Queensway, and unclassified roads heading north and south as noted above. The A911 is dualled to the east, as far as the A92, but curiously is only S2 for the short distance west to the next roundabout where it becomes dualled once more. This is despite there just about being enough room to provide the second carriageway.
