The R103 in Dublin runs from a junction with the R102 at Tolka Valley Road in Finglas, to a junction with the R105 at Howth Road, via Cardiffsbridge Road, Mellows Road, Seamus Ennis Road, Ballygall Road West, Glasnevin Avenue, Collins Avenue Extension, Collins Avenue West, Collins Avenue, and Collins Avenue East.
In common with the lower-numbered roads, the R103 is the third-outermost northern orbital in Dublin.
The junction with R132 in Whitehall is a notorious source of delays, as it is the first time traffic coming from Belfast would need to stop. It was once part of the main N1.
