The R938 is a short stretch of the pre-bypass route of the N2 in Castleblayney, County Monaghan. It connects Main Street (the R181) to the N53 at Connabury immediately south of the town.
Provisionally given (and still signed as) the number R135 – in common with other "detrunked" sections of the N2 – on completion of the bypass in 2007, it was allocated its present number in 2012.
