Regent Street Junction is the eastern start of the A64(M) (but not the eastern end, which is at Woodpecker Junction). It is junction 10 on the collection of one way streets that is the Leeds City Centre Loop.
The junction was built as a roundabout between New York Road, Regent Street, Mabgate and Eastgate. Prior to New York Road being built in the 1910s, it was Quarry Hill and Templar Street, which all met at a junction by Central Synagogue.
