Ridley's Corner is a roundabout on the A2220 and the B2036 located in Pound Hill, Crawley.
History
Pre 1900s
T-Junction. Current B2036 running north to south named Balcombe/London Road which is one of the primary routes between Brighton and London. Copthorne Road, current A2220 running to the east.
1922
Still a T Junction. B2036 Given to road to the north, A264 given to road to the south and east at a TOTSO.
1950s
Becomes a Roundabout with the A264 running both eastwards and westwards, while the B2036 has both northwards and southwards.
1990s
A264 route through Crawley is redesignated as the A2220 as the A264 uses the Copthorne Link to Junction 10 of the M23 and the new Southern bypass.
