Opening in 1971, at 1221 feet (372m) above sea level, the Rockingstone Moss Interchange includes (east of its bridge) the highest point on any motorway in Great Britain. The staggered diamond layout is unusual in that it has cattle grids on all four slip roads. It is Junction 22 of the M62.
