A roundabout built on the edge of Barnstaple on the new Barnstaple South Bypass extension at the junction of the A39, the new link road A3125 and the original minor route B3232.
Roundswell was once a separate village but between 1930 & 1950 was swallowed up by Barnstaple itself.
The roundabout recent undertook a major improvement scheme, which includes widening the roundabout itself and the A39 exits. These were completed in the summer of 2014.
