Sandy Roundabout is one of the A1 Bedfordshire section's many roundabouts. It serves the village of Sandy and is not to be confused with the High Street Roundabout, upon which sits The Roundabout Club.
In modern times, the A603 disappears here heading east, re-emerging at the A1198.
It was presumably constructed at the same time as the A1 was realigned to bypass Sandy.
There were schemes to grade separate this roundabout in past roads programmes; however none have come to fruition - in recent years, however, there have been concerns regarding the pollution that queueing traffic for the roundabout is responsible for.
