The Tarbert to Killimer ferry (also known as the Shannon ferry) is a roll-on/roll-off ferry service which operates across the River Shannon from Killimer in County Clare to Tarbert in County Kerry, enabling traffic between the two locations to avoid a 137-km detour around the estuary via Limerick. It forms part of the N67 coast road and the Wild Atlantic Way, and is is especially popular with those travelling between the popular tourist destinations of Connemara and the Cliffs of Moher to the north and Killarney and the Ring of Kerry to the south.

The service was inaugurated in 1969 and currently employs two vessels. The crossing taking approximately 20 minutes, with hourly sailings all year round (except Christmas Day) and additional services during the summer. The link forms part of national secondary route the N67. It not only saves on distance but also, being in a rural area, avoids any commuting or industrial traffic around Limerick, although the N18 Southern Ring Road has made the difference slightly less.
