Sheering Interchange was a planned junction designed to connect an A414 northern bypass of Harlow to the M11. The junction was first proposed when the M11 was still in planning in the late 1960s and various proposals for a junction have been made ever since.
The original plan was for a roundabout interchange sited to the north of the B183 on the edge Sheering village. The current proposal is for a dumbbell interchange much further south near Moor Hall Road.
