Shillinghill Roundabout is the southern end of the A908, where it terminates on the A907 to the north east of Alloa Town Centre. It is also the eastern end of the A907 Town Centre relief road, with the former route of the A907 being along Shillinghill, which is now one-way onto the roundabout. All of the approaches have two traffic lanes, but only the relief road is dualled. The eastern arm of the A907 is also wider, but this is due to the presence of a bus lane.
The junction, then, is a 5-arm roundabout, with the A907 passing from north west to east, and the A908 heading north east. The two-way Auldbrig Road heads south, leading to the large Tesco store and town centre car parks, whilst Shillinghill, the former A907 route, heads south west. Auldbrig road is also a new-build, and so the original junction was a fork, where the eastern arm of the A907 turned off the straight-through route. Whether this was laid out as a TOTSO or not is not currently known.
