St Catherines Interchange is junction 3 of the M18. It was also referred to in planning as Doncaster Carr Interchange. Despite the M18 opening in December 1978, the junction did not open until the A6182 to the north opened in the early 1980s. The A6182 Great Yorkshire Way to the south opened in 2016.
