St Ives Viaduct crosses the River Great Ouse on the A1096, St Ives Bypass . This road links the A14 and St Ives.

It was to be opened on 9 October 1980 by Lieut-Col Peter Brassey, Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, along with the Bypass on Harrison Way. .
