St Peter's Church is a named junction on the A23 in Brighton. Historically it was the terminus of the A26, and then where the A27 and later the A270 crosses the A23. This junction is part of a larger gyratory system spanning between Preston Park and the Sea Front which is over a mile and a half. The junction was redesigned as part of the Valley Gardens Project (Phase 1/2), and was completed in August 2020.
This junction on its own manages to control traffic from 5 different directions through one way streets and bus/cycle contraflow systems.
NCN Route 20 passes through this junction, however is very inadequate and unclear how cycles are meant to go along the route.
