Stopgate is a T-Junction between the A394 and B3304 north of Porthleven in Cornwall. It is the main entrance to Porthleven from the west, and is a much safer route than the B3304 on the otherside of Porthleven.
The B3304 this side of Porthleven was originally the B3305, but was re-numbered as part of the B3304 in the 1935 numbering revisions. The A394 was heavily rebuilt around here to stabilise the hill and smooth out the tight bend, making it safer and easier to negotiate.
