Terminus in Birkenhead?

The article states

"The A41 is one of England's longer A-roads. Starting in London, it runs via the West Midlands to a terminus in Birkenhead on the Wirral."

Ordnance Survey maps show that (as well as running along Chester Street terminating at the A554 roundabout) the Queensway Tunnel is designated as A41 along its length, ending at a roundabout with the A59 in Liverpool. The subterranean spur is also marked by OS as A41.

The tunnel itself does not have any indication of the designation, nor have I found anything to support the claim... but the OS is usually pretty accurate, and the SABRE Queensway Tunnel article suggests the A41 designation is correct! [Micro the maniac (talk) 07:47, 3 January 2019 (UTC)]
