Hmmm. To the best of my knowledge, the C263 terminates on the C264 which is the Belfast Road from Quarry Corner (junction with A20 in Dundonald) to the Strangford Arms (formerly the junction with A20 in Newtownards, but may well have been extended since the diversion of the A20 round the south side of Newtownards)

Do we have a source for this? Andyb (talk) 13:30, 5 March 2019 (UTC)

The segments of the C263 appear on page 23 of this road list: (https://www.infrastructure-ni.gov.uk/sites/default/files/publications/drd/DRD%202015-0106%20Attachment%203%20-%20C%20class%20sections.pdf)
It would appear that the C263 definitely covers the entire length of Belfast Road from Quarry Corner to the Strangford Arms in addition to Holywood Road and Whinney Hill to the north. I have been working with this list while adding the Northern Ireland C roads to the wiki and using the search option the C264 does not appear on it at all. I presume the C264 must have once covered the whole length of Belfast Road after the A20 was rerouted onto Kempstones Road and was later absorbed by the C263. I can't think of why it would be renumbered to C263, but the list definitely suggests so. Euan (talk) 08:43, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
