Constructive critique here - perhaps this page would be better as describing what a Clearway is and focusing on that. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of lengths of road subject to a Clearway Order and therefore it would be a huge undertaking to list them all for little benefit.

I don't think the Control Zone section belongs here, as most of them were never clearways at all. There were three categories:
1. No unattended vehicles (ie waiting permitted), which applied in many town centres 2. No vehicles (ie road closed) 3. Very rare - no stopping.
No stopping does exist, for example around Aldergrove base, but was always the exception, and I think was phrased to operate as both a stopping and a waiting restriction without the usual exemptions. If a car was parked on the verge, it was a problem. Andyb (talk) 09:46, 15 August 2020 (BST)
