Talk:Crawley Interchange

Article currently says "The Copthorne Link was built in the late 1980s connecting the A264 to the M23, with the A264 being routed along the now A2011 until the construction of the Crawley South-western Bypass." (Similar story on the A2011 article) Looking on old maps, the A2011 has always been called the A2011, before, during and after the construction of the South bypass (A264). The only piece of evidence that I can find to suggest that this was the case is that incorrect sign that remains today on the Northbound exit of the M23 saying both left and right is the A264, but potentially that sign has never been right??? I'll leave the article how it is for a while and might put in a FOI request to see if the local councils or relevant agency known more on the history of numbering around Crawley Interchange - M23 Junction 10
