The Valerian Bridge (formerly Leighlinbridge) carries the L3037 over the River Barrow at Leighlinbridge, Carlow.
It was renamed because it is covered in Valerian plants, that grow into the mortarwork.
The bridge is an eight arch stone bridge, built 1789. It incorporates fabric of earlier bridge(s) at the site, and is reputed to date from C14th.
