Crossings related to the B3254

Trekelland Bridge carries the quiet B3254 across the little River Inney in the heart of rural Cornwall. It may appear to be an insignificant little structure, but it is nevertheless a historic one. With a narrow roadway of just 10 feet it is now controlled by priority signage.

The Bridge consists of 3 stone arches across the river, although the main flow seems to pass under the central arch. The arch to the south west is a smaller flood arch. Dating back over 500 years, the bridge was the only one on the River Inney to survive the flood of 1847, proving that it is well built! The parapets and abutments have been rebuilt or repaired at some stage, but otherwise the bridge seems to be more or less original.

The bridge was listed at grade 2* in 1991, but by 2020 appeared on English Heritage's Heritage at Risk Register as a result of damage from repeated vehicle impacts[1].
