Upper Boat Interchange is a junction on the A470 Cardiff - Merthyr dual carriageway, mainly serving Treforest Industrial Estate and the built up areas westwards to Llantrisant.
History
The junction opened on 29 June 1973 as the end of Stage 2 of the Cardiff - Merthyr dual carriageway scheme. Stage 3 going northbound opened on 18 December 1973.
