A38
I think your recent comments on the A38 page were uncalled for, you have no roads knowledge and you should leave it to the experts! Jeni 14:21, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Welcome
Good to see you diving in and doing some editing (I know you have before... but its been a while!). If you need anything, you know where I am... usually pulling my hair out trying to get templates to work! :) Jeni 16:13, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
- It's me having a quiet day at work :) I turn up when I get the chance... --Chris5156 16:16, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
- Isn't it always a quiet day over there? ;-) Jeni 16:22, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
- In all seriousness, how are you finding the geograph transfer tool thingy? I'm always looking to tweak and improve the upload process, so any comments/suggestions are welcome! There is a useful bookmarklet on Help:Uploading images from Geograph which may help if you are planning to upload more than a handful. Jeni 16:26, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
- It varies... today I'm sitting here ready to assist anyone who requires assistance, but my assistance is not required. So I'm writing about the A2199 instead, and shortly, creating an article on the glorious Streatham One Way System.
- The Geograph doohickey is super - does the job very nicely. My only qualm is that the wiki keeps logging me out, usually after I've inputted all the details (being logged in all the way) and then as soon as I press the final upload button it decides I'm not logged in after all. At the moment I'm putting this down to the fact I'm using Firefox Portable though, and my cookies are probably working a bit strangely. I cleared my history and cookies a few hours ago but it made no difference :( --Chris5156 16:29, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
- Never mind those of us who forked out for a suction mount camera and software to do a one finger shutter release so they could take their own pictures of roads while keeping their sons amused with the promise of a drive to the swings afterwards. I don't mind really. :-P --Ritchie333 16:33, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
- OK Jen - here's a question for you. Why doesn't my new Streatham One-Way System page come up as a junction on the A23? Am I missing a template or a category somewhere? Yours, frustrated of Streatham. --Chris5156 17:27, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
- Partly my fault, partly yours... The junctions infobox didn't automatically categorise, and as you didn't include Category:Junctions, it didn't categorise properly! However, that is now fixed. We won't know if it has worked (it should do) until the job queue clears and everything updates, its currently around 2,800. The bot is running so it should drop down fairly quickly. Jeni 17:41, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
- You'll be glad to know its now showing up on the other 3 pages now, and the A23. Jeni (talk) 18:31, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

Your roads table
Your list of motorways driven shows one thing... you need to get out more! ;-) (and no, not on motorways!) Jeni (talk) 16:18, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
- I wouldn't worry about the M26 ... it's as dull as dishwater - well at least west of J2A.... --Ritchie333 16:32, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
- In fact, you can save yourself the effort and just look at PM's M26 photo gallery! Steven 16:33, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
- Judging by this discussion, my user page must be one of the most popular on the wiki! I will be bagging the M26 as a direct result of this page, and that's the end of it. If you see reports of a 25 year old male who fell asleep at the wheel between Sevenoaks and Maidstone, you can all say you tried to warn me of the dangers...! --Chris5156 17:38, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
What surprises me is that despite living in London, you've failed to cover the whole M25! :P M5lenzar 09:58, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
- On the contrary - that's exactly why I haven't covered the whole M25! Why on earth would I need to use J4-5? Or 21-23? --Chris5156 11:04, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
- Indeed - the only reason I have ever done J4 - J5 myself is because I'm a sabristo and I wanted to! --Ritchie333 11:06, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
- Possibly the most annoying thing is that I can't do M25 4-5 and the M26 in one go! Grrrr. Damn you, Chevening Interchange. --Chris5156 11:08, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
- Of course you can - get on M25 anticlockwise, do junction 5-3 (including the little spur at J4), down M20, back on yourself, along M26 back to where you started. I dunno, some people... Steven 20:28, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

Account issues...
I logged into SABRE as normal.
Found that the Wiki had the wrong e-mail ( an old account that was closed last Autumn).
However, for some reason, it seems that DESPITE being logged in as part of logging into the Forums with a KNOWN password, that same password is not being recognised by the Wiki side of the site.
As the wiki has an incorrect e-mail address, I can't get it or the wiki password to reset. As you are an administrator and bureaucrat(?) here, perhaps you can ensure an appropriate reset link gets sent to me on my current e-mail address which is registered for the SABRE site generally, so that I can reset the password/email accordingly. ( BTW If you need to do something called a Checkuser(a feature in Mediawiki to allow access to some lo-level technical logs about IP origins) to confirm I am the same accounts, so be it.) 23:44, 27 March 2017 (BST)
