It's a good idea to sign anything you put on a talk page. Make sure you're on a blank line at the bottom of the text you're adding, then use the squiggle button that's second from the right.

Yes, we really need to knock them into shape. On SABRE today, you can just look at a road on a map - much better. The text does come into play when you'd need to swap between 3 or 4 maps to take it all in, or you want to describe something specific that's not immediately obvious on a map, such as the history of the A1124 between 1934 and 1936 (which I did today), but otherwise the whimsical stuff makes us look amateurish and a bad advert for the serious organisations like the British Library we're trying to get hardcore research from. --Ritchie333 18:38, 26 April 2012 (BST)
