Talk pages

It's a good idea to sign anything you put on a talk page. Make sure you're on a blank line at the bottom of the text you're adding, then use the squiggle button that's second from the right.

F99 and Rx10 entries

Knock yourself out, Ian - Ritchie's right about them. They were perfect for the SABRE of ten years ago, not right now. Steven 18:25, 26 April 2012 (BST)

Completely agree --Swarkestonecauseway 18:31, 26 April 2012 (BST)

Yes, we really need to knock them into shape. On SABRE today, you can just look at a road on a map - much better. The text does come into play when you'd need to swap between 3 or 4 maps to take it all in, or you want to describe something specific that's not immediately obvious on a map, such as the history of the A1124 between 1934 and 1936 (which I did today), but otherwise the whimsical stuff makes us look amateurish and a bad advert for the serious organisations like the British Library we're trying to get hardcore research from. --Ritchie333 18:38, 26 April 2012 (BST)
