You asked for help!
Try looking in the "Help" menu, available from the main page. On the right hand side of the main page, in the box, there's a link called "How to make a page", which leads you to Help:Wiki Guides. They should help you out! Steven (talk) 17:01, 7 June 2013 (BST)
OK thanks - will do that. Didn't realise I was asking for help!! I obviously need it though. Cheers Nick PS Not sure if anyone will get to see this. You see I REALLY don't know what I'm doing! I'll have a play.
- That's OK, don't worry. If you really mess anything up, there's an "undo" button - if you click on "History" at the top, you can see all the different changes to a page - you can hit the "undo" link that's at the right hand side, save it, and you can put it back to how it was. The "Show Preview" button at the bottom is really useful too. Have a trawl through the Help pages - if you're an utter beginner, then Help:Contents will answer the first few "what the heck is this????" questions, then move onto the Help:Wiki Guides. Oh, and you can sign your name at the bottom of something on a User Talk page (like this one, which belongs to you) by putting four tildes (~~~~}. If you want to get someone's attention, then try their talk page - this one is mine, for example. Steven (talk) 17:48, 7 June 2013 (BST)
So do I just click 'edit' on your talk page then? Or is there a pretty way of doing it? Your page looks very good. Mine is a bit crap.
- Yes, you can - though that gives you the entire page worth of junk! If you want to add a new section, just click on the little "+" that's between Edit and History. If you want to just add a comment to a section that's already going on, then there's a little "edit" on the right hand side matching each heading - you can see one next to "You asked for help!" on here. Does that make sense? Steven (talk) 17:29, 12 June 2013 (BST)
