Apostrophes

Hi Owen,

I wasn't just being ignorant or lazy by missing the apostrophes on all of those pages! There was a problem where apostrophes were causing things to break. Either you've fixed that issue, or found an alternative apostrophe (which I think was available, but not via my keyboard!).

Anyway, thanks for sorting them out. I suspect that there are a lot more on other pages. Oh, and the & symbol caused all sorts of problems too. Rileyrob 17:31, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

Ah, OK, I didn't realise that. I hope you don't think I was intentionally being critical or similar - I just noticed a missing apostrophe on one page and thought I'd move it, then realised of course that the galleries, etc, all referred to it! I ended up writing a little bot to go through and update them all for me in the end. I think I got everything (at least for those three categories). I haven't noticed any ill-effects - I did try it out tentatively at first in case I broke things, but if there are problems, please let me know. If there are any other things that need mass-updating, too, I can attempt to take care of that as well! orudge 20:16, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

Owen, no problems here, you carry on! There are quite a few bridges (eg Boat O Brig, Brig O Laroch, where your apostrophe magic could be applied, indeed any pages with --- O --- should be --- O'--- I think some bridges are also Allt a --- when they should be Allt a'---, but I can't find any just now.
