Voting Membership
If you have registered for the forums or you have joined the Facebook group, congratulations! You are one of the Sabristi!
If you have registered on the forums, you now have access to contribute to the Roader's Digest, our Wiki all about the roads of the United Kingdom and Ireland, and Discover, our maps library.
If you would like to get more involved in the Society, and would like to participate in the elections or even stand for election yourself, you can also become a Voting Member. As well as the mundanity of voting, Voting Members get to start new threads in our off-topic forum, The Lay-by.
You can apply for Voting Membership if:
- you have been a Sabristo/Sabrista for 30 days (in practice, that you registered on the forums at least 30 days ago)
- you are over 16 and
- you regularly contribute to roads discussion - on at least one of the forums, the Digest or Discover.
It's difficult for us to measure your contribution on Facebook, so we can't check that.
Voting Members have to renew their membership every March, and if a vote of any sort is under way, the Secretary will announce that applications are closed.
