Wades Roundabout lies on the A8082 to the south east of Inverness. It is where the A8082 crosses the much older Military Road built by General Wade in the 1720s, now known as Old Edinburgh Road. Whilst this road is now a sidelined dead-end to the south, serving a few houses and farms and segregated from the modern housing estates to either side, to the north it is still an important route into the city centre. There is also a fifth exit from this roundabout, serving the small housing estate of Druid Temple.
