Wester Auchendinny Bridge is a single stone arch bridge which carries the B7026 across the River North Esk just south of Auchendinny. It is generally an unremarkable structure, with the roadway sloping down from the north, the parapet and string course doing likewise, although at slightly different angles, so that they are closer at the south end. However, the interesting thing is that a second archway was later punched through the northern abutment / bank to allow a railway branch line to pass under the road. This railway crossed an iron bowstring skew bridge to enter a station on the south bank, and the arch under the bridge is the portal for a short tunnel. These now form part of a long distance path and cycle route.
