This junction has west-facing slips to/from the A3. There are east-facing slips further east at the Stoke Crossroads. The road between them, now the A25, is part of the old Guildford bypass, which was once the A3.
There is another junction a short distance to the north where the A323 to Aldershot splits from the A322.
The A322 multiplexes with the A25 for a short distance East of here, before continuing into Guildford.
The southbound merge here has Ramp Metering, which is a very rare sight on an A-road.
