X3 (Jersey)

The X3 forms a short part of the St Helier Ring Road, providing the anti-clockwise route from the A7 to the B74. It is not at all clear why this particular stretch of road carries an X number, more usually reserved to roads serving States facilities (such as the harbour and industrial estates), and therefore not maintained by the roads department. It is also not entirely clear if the short stretch of Avenue et Dolmen du pres de Lumineres is included as part of the X3, however, as it passes the Gasworks it seems a more plausible piece of road to have an X number.
