The C10K starts on the A92 at St Cyrus and heads north west along Ecclesgreig Road, heading out of town. After some sharp bends, it runs west to a junction from where a spur heads south to also meet the A92. Continuing north west, the C10K winds over the hills to meet the A937 at a crossroads at Balmakelly. For some inexplicable reason, the road opposite is a spur of the C9K, rather than a continuation of the C10K.
