The C64S starts at a sharp bend on the B992 just south of Fisherford and heads south, skirting the Hill of Tillymorgan to reach Kirktown of Culsalmond. Here it crosses the A920, and continues south, slowly converging on the A96, although never to meet it as the C64S ends on the meandering B992 again, just before its junction with the main road.
