Brampton Link Road number on opening
The road from Brampton and Huntingdon Race Course Interchange to Spittals Interchange, Huntingdon opened in 1976. I haven't got an early enough OS one inch or 1:50000 to confirm its number so grateful for any help.

The 1979 Landranger Second Series Revision A shows it as A604 to the west of Spittals, and A1126 to the east.

So Spittals was originally a staggered diamond like A14 J37.
How would you like your grade separations, Sir?

Yes, it nearly made me late for a job interview in 1991 - but I got there and got a job which kept me occupied for 24 years, and enabled me to becaome a part of the community.
The Huntingdon Northern bypass was open by then!
