What seems to have happened is a new footpath has been created behind Jewsen's (visible in the after pictures) where there was an unofficial one before, this cuts the corner to the A483 near Llanelwedd primary school. The purpose I think will be to redirect the showground footfall heading to/from town away from the pavements outside the garages.
