Closure of B984 Howes Road

I've just edited the wiki page about the former B984 (Mastrick-Bucksburn). I clearly remember it having been flood damaged and reduced to one-way - I've said in about 1980 but I'm not sure of the exact date, and I've not found anything on-line. I think it might have been slightly earlier. It definitely functioned as a one-way road for a few years after the flood damage but from memory it wasn't very long before it closed to motor traffic completely. As I don't have evidence of the dates I've left them unchanged on the wiki page but with some comments reflecting what I've said here. If anyone has more concrete evidence I'd be interested.

A search of the Edinburgh Gazette website provides some useful dates.

One-way southbound - from 1st August 1981; full closure - from 18th March 1996.

Thank you - that's interesting. Having not lived in Aberdeen since the mid 1980s, I hadn't realised it remained a one-way road for so long. I've revised the wiki with these dates.
