One change seen on the 1951 Sheet 160 (London NW) NPE Revision 1232 is the depiction of the Denham section of Western Avenue across the Colne Valley north of Uxbridge as a main road. https://www.sabre-roads.org.uk/maps/ind ... 4&layer=22

The 1946 edition shows the section across the as a white road. https://www.sabre-roads.org.uk/maps/ind ... 4&layer=17

It had opened on 4 January 1943, but maybe it was requisitioned for wartime storage.

We are getting ever closer to full NPE coverage today, with the addition of two more sheets from 1946:

* Sheet 159 (The Chilterns) Revision 20046
* Sheet 180 (The Solent) Revision 10046/Ch

Please have a look at the Coverage Project page and see if there's any in your personal collection that you're willing to donate map scans of - it's something that anyone with a domestic printer/scanner can do.
