Actually, I've just driven past that location again tonight, and GSV is out of date. What's there now is worse - they've replaced the bend sign with a crossroads sign, priority to the road we're on. This is genuinely botched, since the junction is no longer prority-based. Does no-one care about these things?

These have popped up all over Lancashire, most recently in South Ribble, over the past few months, complete with repeaters throughout the estates. Must be costing a fortune...

OK, so it's designed properly, but I thought it could only be reversed on directional signs, or warnings of weight limit ahead?
I can honestly say I've never seen it reversed before elsewhere - is this actually permitted, or only via special authorisation?
Looks like the entire restriction is botched, just look at the end of that road with the junction of the A5035. On one side of the junction you have the start of restriction with access plate here yet on the exit of the junction facing the A5035 again you have this. I'm no traffic engineer but even I know this isn't right!

I'd guess, even as a non-expert, that the weight limit signs are unenforceable anyway so the fact that the rest of the restriction might also be botched is really just icing on the cake!
